Media Studies Year 10 and Year 11 students Conrad Lee, Audrey King Lassman, Fikriye Kiazim, Greg Bushell and Chrystal Udenweze have been chosen by Mosaic Films to participate in the creation of a training video for BBC Class Clips demonstrating the steps required to produce a short documentary film.
They were volunteered by the Media Studies department based on their excellent work both in and out of class.
They will be interviewing, filming as well as editing a documentary. They will be working alongside professional photographers, editors, producers and others. The students will be interviewing Para-Olympic hopefuls at the Lee Valley Training Centre. They will also be editing their films at the British Film Institute at the South Bank.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to meet and work with professionals within the media industry. The producer for Mosaic Films said that our students were the most enthusiastic and the most engaged of all that they had interviewed. I know that you will join me in congratulating them on being chosen for this exciting project
